let's face it, grief has not been an issue on this show (or EBM for that matter).
Until now.
The tone, the sublime force, the je ne sais quoi of the past two weeks rings clear - this is a season of darkness and deep agony.
Reality mirrors dream and visa versa, as we all mourn the loss of Wi-ki and Yi-ki EBMs. After being hit by both the Confrisker.c computer and H1N1 virus's, the companies could not defend the weight of the market forces dur-ing the third quarter FY reset.
What were we all thinking? Avoiding all of these painful stories behinfd the contestants all these years, did we really think that this EBM was sustainable?
Any corporate organizational management consultant would tell you tersely, "No."
Losing Paula, losing all the contestants but one, year after year, losing Simon next year, losing market share - let's face it, the show has been avoiding dealing with loss.
I am encouraged by the trend, moving towards being alive again, but we all must consider the possibility that one day AI (and IX for that matter) may come to an end.
Does this mean that syndicated re-runs represent the 'After-life'? |
